I last year, i remember I was about 13. 14 currently and I remember he had died by a drive by. It was late at night in south Whittier. he was at a party drunk with some friends. One friend of his became a police officer and was celebrating. it was about 10 pm. and the party was right across the street. and i remember me going out. Just to see my father dead on the floor. my sister who wasn’t even born yet. and I thought to myself. my sister will never get too see who her father truly was. and this song reminds me of him.
